The narrow aisle lift truck has been manufactured to function in narrow storage spaces by increasing the ratio between the space and the width of the aisle. Yale produces the single reach NR and double reach NDR models which are used for aisle widths between eight and ten feet. The Narrow Aisle trucks manufactured by Yale provide a Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment which has various stance and control handle configurations and utilize best-in-class ergonomics.
NR & NDR Productivity Enhancements
Quadra-Flexx Operator Compartment: To be able to meet a wider range of operations, there are numerous control handle configurations such as the choice of fore, the aft stance, and the side-stance options.
AC Motor Technology: The AC motor technology offers fast lifting speeds along with strong deceleration and acceleration. It has been manufactured for quick plugging in order to facilitate more responsive directional changes that combine to increase the amount of loads transported in a shift.
Mast & Reach Assembly: The mast reach assembly comprise tapered roller and trunion mounting bearings. This increases the rigidity and durability of the mast; along with the reach assembly carriage which are reinforced for long life and the gusseted rear frame weldment.
Power Lowering: Yale provides industry leading lowering speeds and these uploaded speeds greatly improve the overall throughput and productivity.
Regenerative Lowering: Though regenerative lowering can reduce battery changes per shift it also works to maintain a lower oil operating temperature.
Electronic Steering: The electronic steering eliminates the need for hydraulic pumps and hence greatly reduces energy. The operator could adjust the steering tiller and the steer effort is actually technician adjustable in order to reduce operator fatigue. In the start-up process, drive tire centers automatically initiate.
Order Selectors: Order pickers are also referred to as narrow aisle and very narrow aisle trucks. These equipment are designed for the manual handling of racked loads which are smaller than pallet size. These order selectors elevate both the operator and the cargo to its required height. This height can be more than 30 feet. Similar with the majority of turret trucks they are normally rail or wire guided when used in very narrow aisle applications.
