End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These machines have great performance characteristics which are somewhat like sit-down electric lift truck models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suited for warehousing operation environments which have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machinery are an excellent alternative for applications which require frequent off and on access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine utilized by a variety of businesses who maintain a storage facility which involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and supplies that are stacked or stored into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
All basic reach truck models would have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machine. Telescoping blades are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The tines additionally have a hydraulic setup that enables the operator to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to move between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the reach truck finds the shelves which are selected for the pallet, the hydraulics enable the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Usually, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across with no trouble, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
