Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer a large range of optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When both accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
Many attachments have been engineered and developed to be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to place materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New attachments and products are being designed and made all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized in order to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the extension of the boom and the angle of the boom with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
